Micro computers are small systems that provide a relatively simple processor and just a few i/o devices. Mini computers provide more than one terminal so that several people can use the system at one time. A system like this is called multi user system

A mainframe computer, although it consists of the same basic type os components as micro or mini computer, it has more i/o devices and larger storage capacities. The mainframe processors’ main storage capacity goes up to 1G, and the systems total secondary storage capacity goes up to 500G.

The necessary of the computer size is the nature of the application for which it is used. Larger computers are used for a broader range of applications than are smaller computers, because the larger computers support more users with more number of devices. Sometimes, computers of various sizes have similar applications vary only in the volume of data processing.

Mainframe system is widely used across the World. The domains such as banking, insurance, health care etc. are very much depended on mainframe technology only. To add more, the ATM system of banks are working under a tool called ‘vision plus’ of mainframe technology.

DURATION:

Duration of Mainframe Training will be 90 days and 6 hrs per day

Theory and practical sessions will be conducted on all days Monday through Friday, Saturday no theory class, only practical sessions and other personality development sessions, real time scenario seminars etc will be conducted.
